Between the blue of the Ionian Sea, the green of the hinterland and the thousand shades of Etna

“Enchanting coastal city of Sicily”

Giardini Naxos is built on the site of the first Greek colony in Sicily. In fact, the second part of the city’s name is the name of this colony. As for the word Giardini, it is originally Italian (or rather, Sicilian) and means “agrumenti – citrus groves.”

It is a fascinating place not only on a naturalistic and landscape level but also historical with very ancient origins: its pulsating soul lies in the perfect fusion between antiquity and modern hospitality. Giardini Naxos fascinates everyone with its magnificent pristine beaches, crystal clear water and rich archaeological heritage. Its many facets offer its guests a perfect mix of relaxation and adventure, history and modernity, water and land.. in a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the heart of the Mediterranean.
In addition, the slopes of Etna, located near the city, attract many adventurous tourists throughout the year. The summer in Giardini Naxos reserves extravagant nights: noisy discos, numerous water attractions, trattorias, taverns and restaurants on the seafront. For those who prefer a quiet holiday, there is a golf club and fashionable villas.
