Letojanni

Letojanni, a place with crystal-clear waters, whose trump card is definitely tourism, late, but disruptive. Until the mid-nineteenth century, in fact, it was only a small fishing village, formed on a gulf of the Ionian Sea. It was not even a village, but it constituted the Marina of Gallodoro. Only after World War II, with the development of mobility, tourism developed and within a few years Letojanni became a popular tourist destination.
The resort is famous for its wide gravel beaches that tickle the bare feet of its visitors during walks by the sea.. Here the sea is calm and crystal clear blue. But, when it churns, the waves crash on the rocks of the coast giving its spectators magical emotions.
The local gastronomy invokes the rural and maritime food habits, bringing together the smells and flavors of the past with modern cuisine.
